Catie Rose Hewitt, LMT, RMT
My journey as a body and energy worker began back in 2014 when I was certified in Reiki energy work, and soon after in 2015 when I felt moved to complete my Reiki Master Teacher training. My heart-centered approach and intuitive touch steered me in the direction of massage therapy school in 2016. That hunch happened to be spot on and I found that my passion for working with people only grew and was enhanced throughout my time learning massage therapy at East West College of Healing Arts. While there I not only learned modalities of Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal massage, but I also studied and am influenced by Thai massage and Tui Na (Chinese massage). Over time I have enjoyed working with many clients to provide a safe space, and help facilitate powerful change including: body awareness, increased mobility, relaxation and rejuvenation. I truly feel it is important to listen to my clients and meet each person where they are at--education, empowerment, consent and communication are the keystones of my work. I strive to develop a treatment plan with each client that is effective and collaborative.
My own personal journey of grief, loss, trauma, mental and physical well-being and finding my life purpose have developed in me a vast well of wisdom, compassion and seasoned optimism that I feel is powerful for me, and even more powerful when shared with others in my life coaching and Reiki sessions. When I started my transformational journey in 2011 I thought I knew what lie ahead for me but, as I'm sure you have also experienced, I had NO idea of the lessons in courage, self-care and perseverance the universe would require of me. I have had to shed old things that no longer served me and nurture new ways of being. This was sometimes lonely work and I know how much of a difference it can make to have someone on your team. I still have my rough days, like everyone, but I also practice what I preach and will be ready to hold you accountable because I will listen to you, hope for you and guide you forward to achieve the life you dream of.
When I'm not in the clinic I enjoy hiking, camping/backpacking, reading way too much non-fiction, time with friends and family or singing with my ukulele.
I am an LGBTQIAPK ally and welcome all body types!
I look forward to working with you!
Jesse D. Hughes, LMT
Jesse graduated from East West College of Healing Arts with a focus on deep tissue, Swedish, Thai and Structural Balancing massage. He is such a kind-hearted, gifted therapist and passionate about helping others acheive pain relief and balance while also helping them feel seen and heard. Jesse's treatment philosophy is inline with the experience and values of inclusion, integrity and the holistic wellness that Evolution Healing Arts strives to uphold. Because of this his presence is easily a natural addition to our studio. He is currently studying Ayurvedic massage and nutrition and hopes to weave these into his service offerings over time. When Jesse isn't being a therapist he enjoys video and tabletop games, connecting with nature, listening to music and educating others on all of the cheeses of the world and wines to go with them! Jesse's expertise will be available coming up starting this April on Sundays and Wednesdays. Let's give a warm welcome to him! Be sure to get on his schedule because once people find him his sessions will fill up fast!
